I recently purchased a car from Joseph James, the business is run by a father and son and both are knowledgeable mechanics. In fact, what they don't know isn't worth knowing ! I had a problem collecting the car after purchase but it was no issue -they delivered it for me that evening. The vehicle had been serviced and had a new exhaust as well as refurbished tyres. I would have no hesitation recommending these guys if you want to purchase a car.

We purchased a car from Richard but the vehicle had an issue that the MOT had not picked up, we contacted Richard about the problem and he had no second thoughts in asking us to return the vehicle and have a full refund. Lets be honest, how often do you find a genuine second hand car dealer that will keep his word without a quibble ????? thats a very rare animal these days. I would genuinely have no problem recommending Richard to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced car from a very nice guy who is genuinely honest, what a refreshing change and how rare in this day and age.

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!! Was lucky to have a car brought for me from my parents as an 18th birthday present, so as you can imagine I was really excited. Read a great description from Joseph James on auto trader advertising one of their cars that I took interest in, stating that the car has been freshly valeted and that the car had good body work (which was not the case) but chose to turn a blind eye as I was just excited to get a car. My parents purchased the car at around 5pm on a Thursday and the car broke down the next day at 2/3pm. NOT even 24hours! The company REFUSED to give my parents their money back even though it was under warranty. My parents had to take it to further measures in order to get a refund. 3 months later

Bought a car from Joseph James Autos recently and couldn't have asked for better service. Having discussed details prior to viewing the car, the transaction went ahead smoothly and I went home with my freshly valeted car the same day. Highly recommend these guys!
