Pamela Macculloch5 StarI went in to visit a close friend, on entering the home I was met by a lovely receptionist who let me gain access to the home and directed me to the service users room, as I was walking down the corridor I could hear music coming from the day room, when I passed the dayroom I saw a band playing music to the residents, who were having a lovely time listen to the music, I went in as I could see the service user I had come to visit, staff were handing out cups of tea and some lovely looking cakes which they offer me some too which I thought was lovely of them. When I looked around I could see all the residents were dressed really smart as if they had been going to a dance, some service users were dancing with staff and the others were sitting with families enjoying the music, it was so lovely to see very one having a great time, it looks such a lovely home and very nice staff, lovely place to call home.Wednesday 22nd May 2019
Gwenn Oldroyd1 StarWent to visit a service user I used to care for as I am a home carer. I was appolled as what I saw. The lady had been sick and was laying in it . The bed was wet . Asked for bed to be changed . The water in her cup was all moggy. Bare in mind she can’t walk and the water cup was on a table away from the bed. The bed was so close to the floor I was surprised there was no bed rail as she’s prone to fall out of bed . I was just totally shocked at the whole visitTuesday 7th May 2019
