KNT Danceworks is an established Dance School in Manchester with over 10 years experience. Our classes are held in 5 different studios which are spacious and of the highest quality. The environment is safe and friendly, and both teachers and students are welcoming to any new students. So ignore all the hype about having to be a specific shape or size to be able to dance! These classes are for people who have a hobby, want to keep fit and fancy some new tricks to show off on the dance floor!!. “One of my favourite classes. Sophie never makes it too difficult you can’t do an exercise at all, nor too easy you don’t feel challenged. The exercises are fun and varied, with something new every time. This review is only for kids classes. We had kids at this school for a couple of years. We hoped it will improve and stayed for longer than we should. The ballet classes start late most of the time. 45 minutes, once a week, is not enough beyond grade1, so girls are constantly behind. They score very low marks on RAD exams. Some exam routines are tought last minute(!). Communication is very limited and mostly down to posters. Karen, the principal often doesn't reply texts and never have time to talk. I would say, if you're even a little bit serious about ballet for your children, avoid this school. If you just want to pass time and try it out in a very relaxed environment - that may be the place. Just be ready that your kids may actually sit and watch a class instead of practicing as some classes are joined and the level of kids differs. If you're above Grade 1, there is very little this school can do for you. Amy, the jazz/tap and contemporary teacher is amazing! Very helpful and open. Always finds time for a chat. I would recommend her classes over ballet at this school. Down side: the school doesn't prepare you for exams in those categories(tap/jazz, contemporary), so again... good for keeping the kids moving but not if you want your kids to progress. The price is a plus... the school is one of the cheapest on the market and offers discounts for multiple classes. 1-£5 2-£9.50 3-£13.50
