The first three digits. This displays the width of the tyre in millimetres. A tyre marked 225 will measure 225mm across the tread from sidewall to sidewall.
The fourth and fifth digits of the tyre code that immediately follow the tyre width. The aspect ratio or profile height of the tyre sidewall is expressed as a percentage of the tyre width. So an aspect ratio of 55 for example means that the profile height of the tyre is 55% of its width.
The next two digits represent the size of the wheel rim that the tyre can be fitted to. It is also the diameter of the tyre from bead to bead. So a tyre marked 16 will fit on a 16-inch wheel rim.

The speed rating of a tyre is represented by a letter of the alphabet at the end of the tyre size code and indicates the maximum speed capability of the tyre. Tyres receive a speed rating based on a series of tests which measure the tyres capability to handle a set speed for a prolonged period of time.

R Begum1 StarThis is the worst garage ever. The so called man age r.. Needs to learn some manners. I don't think he particularly enjoys his job. He should really just leave rather than cause reputable damage to kwick fit.
Even when there are no cars and almost 2 hours before closing they refused to do any work. Maybe they haven't understood the business model.
Kwik fit exists because of the customer. If the customer chooses to come there they will generate revenue. Revenue creates job opportunities. Which in turn means you get paid at the end of the month.

Balkys BAMBA5 StarI went to my local Kwik fit at Elephant and Castle. It was Last Thursday Bank Holiday. I took my car there at 10am for a MOT and because I didn't book it, I have been told to come back at 14h30. When I got there, the mechanic took my car in and it was done within 45mns. Hansel Crasto1 StarDespite instructing the service advisor about certain aftermarket items fitted to my car, they decided to throw the part in the bin, and made changes to my vehicle without my consent. When I asked why this was done, the reason I was given was they did the job and moved on because they had too much work to do. No form of apology for their mistake, very blatant and aloof. Also no recommendation about issues during the service which I expected they would tell me. Service booklet not stamped despite asking and been told that it was. Brake fluid reservoir was leaking fluid on the outside and I had to clean it myself. Only came here because it was a recommendation but the Worst customer experience and never coming back here.Monday 11th July 2022
