John Williams1 StarLane roofing are not a very good company, they tell you their work is guaranteed to get their foot in the door then when the work they do is shoddy they send you an email advising they don’t guarantee their work. Of course there is an implicit guarantee in UK law so now we will be filing a claim in the county court against lane roofing to recover the remedial cost to put right all the leaks as well as the downpipe link which they installed with a fall in the wrong direction! Very disappointing when a company like Lane Roofing either don’t understand their obligations in law (which they absolutely should if they are in business), or they simply choose to ignore those obligations. We will be providing updates on the legal action as it progress's so if any other customers of Lane have experienced very, very poor customer service, then I would suggest you consider a legal pathway. No one wants to waste the courts valuable time with a claim, but its company’s like Lane who necessitate using the court system and that is after all why it is there, to resolve a dispute when one party acts unreasonably and refuses to accept their obligations.Saturday 6th February 2021
