Update- energy costs force rises; £6 for wash and £1 per 8 mins now. That's a lot of coinage to collect as we use cards so much Perhaps a card payment reader is now a timely upgrade for this super business *********** First time, very popular , mainly men which was interesting, demographically. 5 top loaders, 6 front loaders and 6 dryers from memory. One of each out of service att. £5 for wash. £1 per 10 mins dryer. No suds etc on sale! No change machine either. Wash cycle 35 mins, machine tells you when it starts. Not a great space in Covid times as only narrow passageway and bench so set your timer on ur phone and go off into Cowick At is my tip. Oh, be prepared that some people do not get back in time so it's a choice whether to pull their clothes out if you are waiting. A dilemma for some as it is unmanned but CCTV is watching you!
