This week Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy made a significant donation of books and toys to The Children's Society. It has given our school community a sincere feeling of community spirit and togetherness by supporting so many local families this Christmas. https://t.co/xZTQVu7xQp We are all looking forward to enjoying a wonderful afternoon. For those students who are not attending the pantomime-they will be guided to afternoon classroom lessons in the Academy . Many thanks Mrs Jacobson (Year Leader )and Mrs Taylor (Trip organiser) We are hoping to arrive back at approx 5.15pm (traffic permitting) and students will be dismissed from the carpark by their tutors. During our journey to and from the Academy and whilst at the theatre , all students are expected to display the highest standards of behaviour. If students wish to bring a small amount of their own sweets and drinks they can ,but all drinks must be in a plastic bottle(the theatre will not allow any cans or glass bottles). All students will be having their lunch at 12.15pm and we will be leaving school at 1.00pm

Today students with 100% attendance can go to school in their PE kits and play on an inflatable for a lesson. Students without 100% attendance have to go in their uniform and attend their normal lesson. I can not believe a school who have just boasted about employing someone to deal with children’s mental health are doing this today! How dare you single children out like this, you should be ashamed. My child will not be attending today due to being set apart from the other children because they have to wear their uniform for being sick!

I became locked in the elevator! I was yelled at because I was late for my class. despite the fact that the doors would not open. I was also bullied! No one punished the students. It was I who was yelled at! I just smacked this guy because he fell from a wall and shattered his arms. I'd give it one star if it weren't for the chicken sandwiches, which are to die for! However, you may have gotten a three-star rating if they didn't run out so quickly.

This School Is Kinda Good, But Not even near as good as my Primary School (Barely Mow). Cuz when I first came to this school back in sept 2017, I had mixed Feelings about this school and How it would teach me to become a Professional in the future, and how it would incorporate me to become a better person. Since Getting older and better in this school, I’ve been taking my lessons quite normally and live a normal life especially when I get to meet some of my best friends in this school, and getting to (and enjoying) the lessons I love and how it would help me in the future. The school dinners are Not enjoyable though hence why I happen to be eating a lunch box. But Anyways, I’m Giving this School 3 stars because it seems Ok, but Bad at the same time. - Written By JamiePick Year 10
