Went into the shop today and purchased an air fryer. Was most displeased with the service I received. It was approaching closing time bit that doesn't excuse the assistant trying to overcharge me first of all and then leaving me to struggle out of the shop with a rather large box . I'm no youngster these days and don't walk very well either so some help would have been appreciated . I wanted to buy an air fryer and thought I'd support a local retailer but quite honestly I wish I hadn't bothered.

Not good, not profesional ! Today I visited Carvells Electrical, in order to buy my first hoover. As I had found out, the shop is an official seller of Miele brand. I need to say that I had expected very high standards of service, before my visit. Why disappointed customer ? First of all, on a receipt/guarantee my address was wrong. I had to go back to the shop and ask for another receipt/guarantee. Secondly, I was not offered to see a product, I had to ask for that. I was shown product just in very front of the entrance, like there was no other place to do it. Thirdly, I bought additional vacuum bags, set of 4 for £ 12,99. When I opened a box, I found a voucher for FREE set of 4 vacuum bags. I had NOT been informed about that free gift/offer. Now I would need to go back to the shop for the third time for a refund. Moreover, I was the only customer in the shop. I was served by J Bo****. Jacob M.

Always go to Carvells first for any domestic appliances. Staff are helpful in advising you on the best products. Have been going here for over 40yrs and never regretted any purchases made.
