Lush Pups Dogs Grooming

My dog became ill and started acting strangely the night before her appointment at Lush Pups. The next morning it happened again so I rang to cancel the appointment and to reschedule or take my other dog, a Tibetan terrier, instead. It was a brief conversation because the lady put the phone down on me and left me speaking into an empty phone. As it turned out, my shih tzu is suffering with vesticular syndrome which is dog vertigo. Hopefully, she'll be fine and I took her back to my previous dog groomer and will just continue to go back there until I find a new groomer in Heysham or Morecambe who is more sympathetic and patient.

I took my 14 year old Jack Russell in and was worried that he would be scared or that they wouldn't be able to clip his nails. I needn't have worried. The lady I saw was fantastic, my dog came away not only with beautifully clipped nails (no splitting!), his coat was sleek and he was really happy. I really like how they treat dogs here. The lady I saw was great at listening to my concerns about his age etc and made sure that he felt safe, secure and was really great at dealing with his temperament. Highly recommended -the best I've been to, including the vets!

Fantastic! Since moving up to Morecambe we've really struggled to find a decent groomers for our little Shih Tzu, Dazey. Dazey can be a bit nervous in the groomers like most small dogs, and the owner's calm manner works wonders. The cuts are much better than anything she used get in Essex. Can't recommend enough! - Bob Singer

Absolutely terrible upsetting experience, have been before and felt the owner was a little stuck up and not my first choice but as everywhere else was booked up and my dog was in need of a cut had no choice... Very rude to me in front of "helper" and judgmental, made me feel extremely uncomfortable and upset.. Left my dog in a mess with long bits of hair everywhere. UNFINISHED. Only body done (and not properly) head un touched. I could go on. Very unprofessional behaviour from a MATURE women. I am disgusted. Never left review on this place before as didn't feel they warranted a score with previous visit .. But this ones definitely justified!
