Village Voices5 StarWe met up with my Son's family for lunch, this was second occasion so that itself is testamony to how much we liked it. Service was excellent and food well prepared and presented.
The place is very popular and was still busy at 3pm on the Sunday we ate there. There is a full menu and plenty of choice of starters mains and desserts. Plus options for children.Sunday 22nd August 2021
Charlie Beasley4 StarThe pan fried wild scallops were an excellent starter and the slow cooked pork belly, although haram, was beautiful. The use of the carrot & red pepper purée, truffle potatoes and Bordelaise sauce made it very exciting.
The waiting time was surprisingly quick for how busy the restaurant was. The bar staff and waiters are very friendly although I must deduct a star because my order was incorrectly taken however this issue was resolved promptly by Jess.

Louisa Katie Jarvis5 StarI held a surprise birthday party last night at the Lyttelton arms in the function down stairs, everyone really enjoyed themselves and it was a lovely night thank you to all of my colleagues for making the night so special but a massive thank you to Beth our lovely bartender who attended to all my guests needs through out the night and Lauren in the kitchen for cooking our delicious food, everyone made it very special thank you all very much !!! Spike Mclarrity5 StarSuch a wonderful spacious restaurant, great menu and wonderful atmosphere.
I had brought two elderly gentlemen who are in the 70s and 80s year old.
They both had their 21st birthdays back in the days in formal dress!
This was a real trip down memory lane, staff were very welcoming. Seating inside and outside, good parking space and disabled access and a fabulous glass of prosecco. Cheers!Wednesday 18th August 2021
