Feel sorry for whoever is living in Apt 2 32 Woodvale Avenue, Shankill currently. Last year I moved in for several months before requesting to move out. No black bin provided for me moving in. Apartment not cleaned for move in day, cleaner was ‘sick’ but there are plenty of cleaning agencies. Shower not checked before I moved in. First shower I had, the water leaked down into the kitchen, almost causing a fatal accident. Several contractors sent out to look at the shower before anyone actually bothered to fix it. Had to use the spare shower that was attached to a bath, and funny enough, that started leaking too. One contractor made an absolute mess sealing around the bath. Then the icing on the cake: rats in the attic, above my bedroom. Told by letting agent that as the roof space between houses are connected, not much they could do. This ruined my mental health as I could hear them every day. And clearly it’s an ongoing issue in that street. Neighbours leave bags of rubbish in the shared alleyway, which is attracting the rats. When my bin arrived, it was stolen that same day. When my recycling bins arrived, they were also stolen. Boyfriend spoke to many neighbours, some claimed they did not own a bin. I don’t know what’s worse between the neighbourhood and the letting agent. I was on the phone to a counsellor during living here, referred by my doctor, as I was having suicidal thoughts due to my living conditions. Avoid this letting agent at all costs - they do not care when you have issues with your rental. Had a much better experience with UPS.

There's not enough good words to describe how helpful Merrel is, she genuinely cares for her potential tenants and wants them to get the house that's right for them. Couldn't recommend them enough to anybody trying to get a house quickly and without stress
