Carmen West1 StarVery poor service. Did not ring me to tell me about my car. I had to ring them. First MOT was told ABS fault would cost £400 + , unable to tell me what the problem was. I took it to another garage who fixed it for £70 and diagnosed the problem straight away. Returned the car to the MOT as all issued fixed. I had no call, I called. They said they had to abandon the test as fuel flowing out of the engine once on the ramp and put it back on their parking area. When I picked it up it had been moved across a fuel station to the other side. I could not see a leak at this time. I was given the keys and told to leave after asking then where the leak had originated from. They could not say other than the engine. On getting home and looking again I saw a drip from the bottom of the fuel filter housing.
If I could see it with an unqualified eye, how could a qualified mechanic not tell me where the leak came from. To be honest you HAD to know where it came from in order to see it.
I would definitely NOT recommend this garage.Tuesday 19th January 2021
