Situated on the outskirts of Sheffield near to the Peak District.

Opened by Jen and Andy Lawson in the summer of 2007 we are a small family run cattery, situated in a farm location, but very close to the centre of Sheffield and within easy travelling distance of Rotherham and Doncaster.

We provide high quality accommodation, built to the latest welfare specifications, and with Feline Advisory Bureau trained staff. We have twelve chalets in the cattery which are individually insulated and heated, housed in a secure environment.

Just got back from our holiday after leaving my cats with Jen for the 3rd time. She is always so friendly and laid back and welcoming. The cattery is super clean and accommodating and as its on a fairly small scale, it feels like the cats get a lot of attention. My female looks like a super model with super sleek fur!(she's long haired)...so its nice to know this was taken care of. Lovely farm setting and would definitely recommend and go again.

First time there with my wife and our friend's loved the place staff was very good and helpful meal's top's rooms clean and comfortable......will be going back .......the only issue we had was.... NOT....enough staff ....

My cat Smokey is being looked after brilliantly here. The place is kept very clean. Smokey is provided a variety of regular meals and is clearly eating very well on her top level which is a cosy warm set up. On the bottom level she has a huge litter tray. She jumps up and down between the two levels making herself known as a grumpy old lady to the other cats around her. Purrs away between hisses mind 😹 Jen couldn't have been more accommodating and kind to me during Smokey's stay. Thank you Meadow Farm cattery and Jen!

We have used Meadow Farm Cattery many times over the past year for our two cats. Before their first stay, Jen invited us to have a look around the accommodation to ensure we were happy to leave our cats with her. There is plenty of space for them when they both stay together and the cattery is always clean and warm, even during the winter. Jen is very friendly and takes good care of our boys; we'd definitely recommend Meadow Farm Cattery.

We used Meadowfarm cattery for the first time for our two cats. We were a bit worried initially about putting them into a cattery (who isn't!) but Jen (the owner) could not have been more accommodating. We went to have a look round first and the only thing that put us off a little was the old dog chained up - but to be fair he is a working dog! The cattery itself is located in an outbuilding adjacent to the house and has got approx 12 cubicles for the cats to live in. There isn't an outdoor run for them but that was fine. They have a separate sleeping area, and on the floor we put their scratching post down and then their litter trays. We booked them in for two weeks and on return they didn't want to leave! So clearly had a great time! We have booked them back in when we go away again - I would book early as Jen does get full very quickly! Highly recommend the cattery to anyone! Thank you! X
