Paul Walker4 StarRented a car from here to attend a funeral and was happy with the service. When I arrived to collect a pre booked car (over the phone) they didn't have the automatic in stock so they found me an alternative straight away. The car was brilliant, no issues at all mechanically. The damage checks where great and any damage was listed. The only issue I had was the car had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. Drop off was great. I was in and out again within a few minutes. I got my deposit back in quick time which was nice. Overall I would happily use them again.Wednesday 4th January 2023

Although fairly new the van was damaged in places from previous hirers but this was all documented at hand-over.
Rental was cheaper than Enterprise who I have used before but Mercury does not offer any excess waiver protection and so you have to be careful at all times to avoid paying the high excess.
On balance, I will probably return to using Enterprise in the future as their vans are pristine and damage-free and they offer all of the waiver and breakdown protection I need - even if they do cost more money.
Took about a week for the deposit to be returned/cancelled - the amount shows on bank statement as pending for around 5 days post-hire before it is cancelled.Saturday 2nd April 2022

I have read another review saying they are cheaper than Enterprise but Enterprises van are newer who cares a van is van and I want to save money. I would rather use a local company which contributes to the local community than an American company.Saturday 7th May 2022
