Excellent service from the team, special thanks to Jack, Amy's R&O, Charlotte and Caroline. Sold our property after 7 weeks and a price adjustment on Jack's advice which was timely and well judged on his part. Very quick to get the property to market with great photos and video. Very pleased with their performance and will be using them again for our Mother's house sale.

We found Miller Metcalfe Bury to be dishonest and misleading with their handling of our original house purchase. The listing first stated the house had 3 bedrooms. This wasn’t true and it has since been listed with another estate agent as a 2 bedroom property. They also stated in their initial advert that the house had a garden. At the time there was no garden owned by the house, our solicitor also confirmed the purchase paperwork for the land had not been submitted at that time. Upon speaking with the manager about this they stated they were under no obligation to tell their letting agent who showed us around the property this [important] detail. We were assured the garden purchase was underway. 2 months later as the process dragged on we went up to speak to the neighbours who assured us that only ‘half’ of the garden shown on the advert pictures was being purchased. Miller Metcalfe denied all knowledge of this and the deal eventually fell through as we realised we’d been lied too. They also insisted they’d done nothing wrong although, funnily enough, once the property went back on the market a week later they took out the part about the house having a garden. We ended buying a different property with a more ethical estate agent but we lost a lot of money on our house sale due to wasting 3 months of time with Miller Metcalfe. I would advise against using this estate agent who didn’t even compensate us for the issues listed above which break their policy standards and code of ethics.

O stars! Horrible experience. Staff are rude and lie about policies to get you to put down deposit. Absolute Thieves! Applied for a rented property and then being rejected without reason and refused a deposit. Luckily managed to get the exact property through a different agency with a much better customer service. Got deposit back in the end after much stress. Advice : if you like a property- search elsewhere for it as most likely it will be posted by more than one agency.

My selling experience with Miller Metcalfe Bury was very good. From the beginning to the end, I felt that they were always there to assist in dealing with all the processes that usually come with selling a property, and have listened to my needs. Caroline came to do the valuation, and I found her very friendly and knowledgeable about marketing a property. She offered me all the help needed to make it easy for us to move, including recommending AFG Law Solicitors, whom I found excellent in their service. We were in a big chain, and buying another property to move to, after selling mine. I found the team, in particular Charlotte Livesey very supportive and understanding in dealing with that, by making sure that all sides were moving in the same direction with each other. Charlotte would always answer my call, and listened to my queries and demands, and would call me back, or email me if she missed my calls. She was very patient with my needs, particularly after my property became under offer, and the buyers wanted to move quickly. My buyers were very demanding in terms of surveys, and their perception of ideal property. As a result, I almost pulled out of the sell altogether. But Charlotte made sure they listened to my demands as well, and waited for me to find another property to buy and moved to. At the end, it was a complete success story. My selling and buying was tied up together, and completed on the same day, even though I was buying from another agent. I will definitely recommend Miller Metcalfe to family and friends.
