We have used them to refurbish a utility and shower room and as it was just myself and my husband we needed a lot of advice and guidance. The guys went out of their way and were more than willing to help, even when we didn't have a clue. The project is now complete but we will go back next time and would thoroughly recommend mkm to anyone. Thanks guys.. Much appreciated.

Where do I start.. I only come here when I’m desperate and working nearby. The prices are stupidly high compared to the usual independent timber merchants that I use. Every time I go, I’m waiting for what seems like an eternity for guy in the yard to come and ask me what I need, there is never anyone around!!! Then when they do come and help they have no knowledge about anything and quite often not enough stock!! Then when you go inside and pay, I counted at least 20 staff all pretending to be busy or eating a sandwich, can’t possibly think what they are all doing!! I was kept waiting again at this point. How companies like this stay open is beyond me. If it’s any consolation all major building merchants are like this. AWFUL !!!!!!

If people think this is a good builders merchants then they must be from another planet. Prices are higher than wicks and b and q put together How do they manage to stay in business? The staff are useless. 20 staff in the office and one lad in the yard trying to serve 5 people. It’s like something off a comedy sketch
