Our essential funeral is a simple and lower-cost option suitable for those who want to keep costs down, or if the person who died wanted a simpler send off. Essential funerals Tailored funerals Our tailored funeral means you’re able to decide exactly what’s included in the funeral arrangement. From a horse-drawn hearse to a favourite colour theme, tell us what you want and we’ll do our best to make it happen. This means you can celebrate the person's life in a time and place that's best for you. It’s a low-cost alternative that lets you remember the person in your own way and in your own time. Direct burial Direct burial You can pay in full, spread the cost over 6 or 12 months with no additional costs or monthly instalments over 2–25 years. There's an additional instalment charge when paying over 2-25 years and age restrictions apply.
