We welcome you to join us for our Open Week from Monday, 24th April - Saturday, 29th April 2023 to get a real feel for the unique learning journey we can offer your child.  Each family will have a one-to-one meeting with the Head, Mrs Kate Martin, and any other members of staff you would like to meet based on your child's individual needs.  You will also have the opportunity to meet our pupils as they give you a full tour of the school, and see our lessons and co-curricular activities in action We are a vibrant, leading co-educational day and boarding preparatory school for children aged three to thirteen, 11 miles West of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.  At Mowden Hall School, we aim to nurture the children academically, morally and culturally to help develop their confidence and sense of independence. In turn, the pupils discover talents, interests and values that prepare them for the next stage of their education and which stay with them for life. The final performance of the Spring Term was an adaptation of Macbeth by William Shakespeare, performed by Year 6. This is a general knowledge quiz, involving two competitions - one for the seniors (Years 6 to 8) and one for the Juniors (Years 3 to 5). The format is loosely based on the TV show Universit... Our Year 6 pupils performed one of their dress rehearsals for their upcoming production of Macbeth for the pupils and staff of Lemington Riverside Primary School!
