New Hall Mains was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. I couldn’t believe the effort that had gone into the rooms and overall experience. The beds were superior to ones I had been in before, the service was fantastic and the overall atmosphere was exactly what a hotel should be. I stayed in one of the cottages which was stunning. Euan is a top guy as well and the staff are all lovely. The location is perfect and it makes you feel so relaxed. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thanks for the awesome stay guys!

Such a beautiful place to stay! It was a beautiful experience waking up next to the field of sheep while staying in the cottage. My only complaint was that I wished the cottage was more fully stocked as a home. You are far away from a grocery store or a restaurant (besides the properties) so on arrival if you do not bring food with you, you’re out of luck. The restaurant on property was not open for most meals during the week. A welcoming snack basket would be helpful- maybe a loaf of bread? Carton of eggs? One box of granola? Hot chocolate mix? Anything!! They did have some beverages in the fridge which we were grateful!

Absolutely stunning venue the place was spotless and everything was first class, the food was delicious and well presented, the bedrooms were excellent ,if your looking for a venue for an event this should be your first choice.

Kenny and I had our wedding at Newhall on 22nd February 2022, all the 2's on a Too-sday(!), and from the initial enquiry to contact after the big day, Euan and Louisa couldn't have done enough for us. We hired the entire venue and accomodation for 2 nights and also celebrated my daughters 18th the morning after our wedding. So very relaxed, everything went like clockwork and even the weather was kind to us! The venue is absolutely beautiful as is the accomodation, everyone enjoyed their stay and drinks at the bar where Hannah was our personal star behind the bar, keeping everyone right and topped up, never forgetting what everyone's order was! No mean feat! Newhall also have a supplier list with recommendations for all we could need for our wedding. Our venue 'dresser' and my dresser(!), my good friend Nicola at Eva's Covers enhanced the beautiful setting along with Amanda Call our lovely florist. Catering was supplied by the amazing and so talented Lunchbox Boys, Sam and Dougal, with our delicious cake and bakes made by the lovely Eilidh, owner at Little Croft Bakery. Hair (and nails) were done by my brilliant hairdresser Elana MacLeod (Elanas Hair and Nails), and our perfect makeup done by the amazing Lisa Hart (Lisa Hart Makeup Artist) . All our special memories were captured forever by the fantastic Andy Taylor Photography with videography by Thistle Productions (the lovely Ross & Anna). We had a great day's craic with you guys! We would absolutely recommend Newhall for anyone wanting a short or long break away, or as THE place to consider if you're planning your wedding, big or small. We can't wait to have another shindig there as soon as we can plan it! First class, Luv Mr and Mrs MacAskill xx

Simply a flawless stay, from the moment you arrive. Staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming and easy going. They really give you the feeling that they will adapt to whatever you need. The cottage was incredibly well presented. We stayed in the Catriona Cottage. Everything is brand new and the attention to detail was really high. From the fireplace to the kitchen appliances, down to even the smallest items. It really deserves a mention for that. The setting is very relaxing and calming. Plenty of space for parking and if you have a Tesla car you can charge your car too. It even has its own airstrip! One of the best places I've been in Scotland and I hope one day to return.
