Well stacked shop but on my few visits here I’ve struggled to find a parking space each time. The service from the staff here was good but they lack a sense of urgency which means you queue when it comes to paying.

‘Female’ staff member at otterbourne store today (24/5/23) at around 0955am aged about 55 ,5ft 4 light hair fazing to grey would be on CCTV near the door entrance. She was moving some stock and a moth flew out on to the floor i went to pick it up as she was about to KILL it but she stood on the poor thing and killed it. This is not acceptable at all especially in front of customers. I asked why she had to kill it and she said she doesn’t like them. I just politely said there was no need to kill it as i was about to pick it up to let it out. She said ‘so what its only a moth’ this is not acceptable and id hope as a company you wouldn’t see thsi sort of behaviour as acceptable she also became aggressive toned and argumentative it made me very uncomfortable as a paying customer.

Yet again, out of date food on the normal shelves so you don’t notice. My bad, didn’t check the date of the burger stuff on a bank holiday. I mean it was only a month out of date ffs!

Our emergency shop and it has a little post office. Prices are high and selection is limited but as I said it’s the kind of shop you head out when you forgot something. Parking is good. One thing to improve which I noticed at lots of shops around Winchester and agglomeration is the SMILE, it doesn’t cost you anything and makes the customers feel more welcome.
