Welcome to The North Berwick Golf Club
Golf has been played over the historic West Links since the 17th century, from almost every tee we have breathtaking views of the Firth of Forth and the islands of Bass Rock, Craigleith, Lamb and Fidra. The 1st tee is a very short walk from the town of North Berwick and its bustling streets.
A championship links course, the West Links has hosted Final Qualifying for The Open and many men's and women's amateur championships and is steeped in history.
Our visitors will be offered a very warm welcome and will leave with fond memories.

Peter Devine1 StarI have to say that I was more than a little bit impressed that the gold club did have a banana flower fish and chips. It was the first time I tried it but found it difficult to digest. However, the chips were good but £14 was a little steep. Just a suggestion, have you tried halloumi instead of the flower; it's much more edible!

Ryan M5 StarI have experienced this course twice now and both times felt it was such a fantastic experience. The course is challenging with a few very quirky and memorable holes. It’s condition has been first class and it is clear the staff are very caring about the course and the experience. Justin Carabello5 StarOne of the best golf experiences of my life. Played the first 8 holes in a light rain before it broke, but that only added to the memories. I would return here in a heart beat if I could. Every hole was memorable. Quality through and through and the course was in GREAT shape! Matt Waters5 StarIncredible golf course that was in fantastic shape for the dead of winter. The staff were all as friendly as they could be, and the members I encountered were also incredibly kind and accommodating. Played my round with 20-25 mph winds with rental top tier Titleist clubs in full sunshine, which was a wonderful surprise. Everyone made me feel as welcome as they could. I ended up being paired with a member and a couple of his friends, and having them around definitely helped me navigate the course better than if I were to have played solo. The views of the sea, old rock walls, and the houses and entire town were second to none.
By far the best golf course I've had the pleasure of playing, and if I ever return to the UK from the US, I'll be sure to swing back by. North Berwick is a great town, and the golf course fits in perfectly. It's the most welcoming golf course I've ever played, and I felt truly appreciated for being there.
