DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. The item ordered was made up of multiple packages on delivery, on checking we were missing the doors. After advising 'Robert' of this it seemed that I constantly had to chase him via emails, texts and phone calls. I then opened up the various other packages and there appeared to be an issue/damage with every piece. Please find attached some pictures FYI to show the standard of the goods sold. The edging strips were protruding over the edge of the panels so the finish looked poor. As the edging was not finished correctly there would also then be an excess of glue along where the edging was placed. There was excess glue over the main panels which had dried on the veneer finish. Where any holes where drilled/cut the finish was being ripped away from the substrate - either the finish was substandard or the cutting tools were poor. There was also other damage, dents and scratches - I don’t know how this would have passed any sort of quality control. Again trying to get information from Robert was painful. Lots of excuses, blaming the supplier, couldn’t contact the supplier, the supplier not getting back to him - his phone running out of charge was one of his favourites! It was comical to hear what excuse he would think up next. We then had a delivery..no info again from Robert or the delivery company - this was the exchange of the damaged unit. Despite Robert’s assurance that the packages would be quality checked before shipping, there was again similar damage on the second shipment. There was however not as much damage and some of it could be hidden by the way the panels would be attached together. Despite sending pictures of the damage to Robert he has now decided not to answer emails, text messages or phone calls. The furniture manufacturer is 'Dams' who are based in Liverpool.
