I called Oasis after seeing them recommended on a local Facebook Group. My oven had broken and tripped the electricity in my house, leaving me inconvenienced and worried that the oven might need to be replaced. Ash replied quickly, arranged a visit on the same afternoon and was able to quickly replace the broken part. All for a reasonable price. Ash is clearly highly experienced, professional and reliable. I was honestly delighted by how quick and efficient the process was. I would be happy to recommend Oasis and will be keeping their details for any further work I may need in future.

Quite frankly the best in the business. Extensive knowledge on ANY appliances. Very reasonable and always happy to help in a crisis. I recently had two appliances delivered by currys and their “technicians” didn’t have a clue how to remove the old ones. Step in Oasis with a bit of brain and know how. All sorted :) more than 5 star.

Called and asked if they have a call-out fee, was told that there wouldn't be one as I lived so nearby. On the basis of that I booked an appointment. The first thing the technician did was start spinning the drum of the washing machine (which was nothing to do with the problem) and saying that the bearings were going, which I knew enough to know that was doubtful, but he obviously took me for a mug. Then, he insisted on a £20 call-out fee and I explained I'd been told there wouldn't be one. He called the shop, thrust the phone at me, and I ended up being pressured by the guy in my home and cajoled by the same guy I'd spoken to before who lied and then changed tactic to saying I could get the call-out fee taken off the cost of the repair or a replacement machine, "because we were neighbours". I didn't trust these people at all, however, and went elsewhere (and the drum bearings were fine, by the way). It's such a shame when you want to support a local independent business and feel like they are trying to rip you off. My advice would be to look elsewhere. Just my opinion.
