Donald Macleod5 StarI have been using The Observatory for several years now and have always been impressed by the professionalism of all the staff there. They are all unfailingly friendly and pleasant to deal with. I have total confidence in their advice.
Several times they have gone the extra mile and on one occasion when there was a very long delay from a supplier - which wasn't their fault - they waived the charge. A couple of days ago I damaged one leg of my spectacles. One of the staff spent some time fixing the problem and ensuring that the specs were now a perfect fit. There was no charge! My glasses prescriptions x2 were very much out of date . They didn’t try to sell me new frames , but fitted new glass lenses . I would highly recommend them .Saturday 4th November 2023

John Dodd5 StarLike so many others, my wife and I have been regulars at The Observatory in Muswell Hill. The staff, all of them, are unfailingly welcoming, courteous and great at their jobs.
I popped in today for a minor running repair on my glasses. Done immediately, refused payment, gave me a gift instead!
I wish they felt confident enough to leave a charity donations box on the counter, for this sort of thing, but a sign of the times, sadly.

Given all the advice needed for my bespoke prescription and time taken to explain it all. I will be back in a few weeks once I’ve made my decision.
