Unfortunately, we visited during a friend's funeral. The staff were discreet, polite and friendly when we spoke to them. There was plenty of room for our party to be separated from other pub-goers and it was quiet enough for us not to be shouting to each other. We gave our friend a good send off. R. I. P. old pal.

It's lovely and if you want a bit of nice pub grub and a decent pint it's a nice place to call in to. Nice staff and it looks a lot better since its been refurbished.

Typical pub food, nothing special but cheap. The pie was tasty. No dogs allowed inside. Spacious, wheelchair accessible.

Staff were lovely and food was nice , but at the bottom of my glass of coke was the nozzle off the drinks machine !! think I will have a bottle drink next time
