Omni Therapy Rooms is a private massage and holistic therapy practice based in the heart of St Helens since May 2008. Lisa Holmes, owner, resident therapist and tutor is proud to offer a wide range of services and products to benefit the whole community and the surrounding areas of Haydock, Ashton, St Helens, Newton le Willows, Warrington, Wigan, Prescot, Huyton and Liverpool – specialising in, Traditional Chinese Acupuncture; gynaecology, fertility and women’s health issues, medical disorders, chronic illness, pain management, Sports Injury services, Skin Aesthetics and Holistic therapies.

I am renowned for getting to the bottom of some of the most complicated cases often labeled as ‘not-fixable’ and attract patients from all over the UK. Many of my patients have come to me for preoperative pain reduction and have ended up avoiding surgery altogether as I have been able to find and treat the cause of the pain, or have been a “20 year mystery” to the western medical world, yet after treatments by myself, have been able to resume a “normal” life, with no medication, going back fully to work and enjoying sports and social settings that they hadn’t been able to do for years.

I take on referrals from many healthcare professionals such as Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and some local GP surgeries. I am backed by 15 of the UK’s largest private medical and healthcare insurers, and I’m a proud member of the Acupuncture Society, Total Therapy Association, and I’m a registrant of the British Acupuncture Federation.

What Can You Expect In An Omni Therapy Rooms Treatment

The first thing you will notice is an appointment needs to be arranged in advance as I have a continuous stream of patients, many of whom have seen many other specialists but have yet to find the answers they deserve. Second is the attention to detail I require surrounding your condition(s). I do not wait until the first treatment to find out critical information about you, instead I start the process as soon as contact is made, which allows for more treating and less talking in our first treatment. Your bespoke treatment plan will be discussed and agreed prior to commencing, and will be tailored to your needs based on our diagnosis. Unlike many other healthcare professionals I don’t rush our treatments and kick you out after 15-20 minutes, and neither do I charge per therapy. It is likely you will receive a combination of treatments within your session to enhance the efficiency as no single way of treating can fix everything. It’s this multi level approach which gets us the results others cant, and we call this ‘stacking’.

Some of the most common medical procedures I like to stack are acupuncture, manual therapy (manipulations and adjustments of the spine and other joints), massage therapy, and instrument assisted soft tissue release. I also believe in educating my patients because my aim isn’t to have you come to me forever, but instead to help you to the point you come to us just for an M.O.T. To do this I like to set homework!  This could be something simple like prescribing medicinal foods, herbs, and tonics right through to a full nutrition and/or rehabilitation program depending on your needs.
