Professor Floyd5 StarGreat little, no nonsense, old fashioned fish and chip shop. Good quality and generous portion. I had the small cod, chips and side(mushy peas) in box, which cost £6.70. The size was as much as I could manage and there was no waste. Not the fastest service and the staff could've been more cheerful, but hey, we all have days like that - not for me to judge. Anyway, I give it 5 stars because it was tasty(nice quality cod), very hot, well presented and the premises were very clean and tidy.Friday 17th September 2021

Literally can't fault this place. Crispy fish batter, great portion sizes for the price, the cod and chips were so tasty.
Been here a few times with my husband and it literally takes us 50 mins to get there but it's so worth the trip 😂 we'll be headed there this evening!Wednesday 6th April 2022
Emily Small1 StarWhat has happened to this Our Plaice since its refurbishment? I used to rave to friends and family about the quality of the chips here. But now they are less than average. The so called homemade pies are dry and unappetising, however, the fish does still seem to be good and so it should at £6 a pop. I leave this review with a heavy heart about Our Plaice (Hagley) and have given them over a year to get back on track. This was our number one chip shop for over 10 years.Wednesday 29th June 2022

Nazir U3 StarUsed to love going there for fish and chips, but the last visit wasn't too good. The chips wasn't fully cooked and the fish was lacking in flavour. Hoping for an better experience next time.Friday 22nd April 2022
