Everyone who uses a vehicle on the road must keep it in a roadworthy condition. The MOT test checks that vehicles meet road safety and environmental standards.
The Coventry based company was established in 1980 as Paragon Motors by Jeff Donely and Geoff Wise, both Auto Transmission instructors at Jaguar Rover Triumph, doing general service and MOT work, but specialising in auto transmissions. A play on words to promote the speciality image resulted in Paramatic Auto Transmissions (P.A.T.), although customers (who we still retain to this day) refer to us as just Paragon.
Paragon Auto Testing relocated to their new premises in 2007 where we no longer do auto transmissions and just concentrated on MOT testing.
At Paragon Auto Testing we believe in making sure the vehicle is roadworthy and we have installed the very latest MAHA drive through automated test lane for all class 4 cars and light commercial and class 1 & 2 motorcycles.
