We recently sold our 2-bed house in East Oxford with Penny and Sinclair and would thoroughly recommend them. Oliver Hope was incredibly enthusiastic, complimentary, and objective about our property and its value, which is what set P&S apart from other estate agents we had considered. We were able to secure an excellent sale price for our property within two weeks of putting it on the market. Oliver and the team maintained the highest levels of professionalism and integrity throughout the process, and I was able to speak directly to Oliver whenever I needed. We can’t thank them enough for making one part of the process of moving house easier!

I am posting as a previous tenant of a property managed by Penny & Sinclair. We had a mostly good experience of the agent during the tenancy which was all quickly undone towards the end. We were buying a property and didn't want to re-sign for another 12months as the agency were pushing us to. We asked to let the contract move to a rolling monthly contract (which happens at the end of a fixed term). I was given incorrect legal information by Nicola who should know better as she has the qualifications. I was told monthly rolling contracts do not exist and we would have to vacate the property at the end of the fixed term (around.3 weeks away at the time) which again is an incorrect as doesn't take into account notice periods for evictions. We were lucky as we had advice from a personal friend within the industry who helped us stand our ground to get it resolved. This does make me wonder what they manage to get away with with other people, particularly those who are vulnerable. At the end of the tenancy it also seems as though Penny & Sinclair have no idea of fair wear and tear and quickly told us there would be deductions make from our deposit. Parts of the inventory were laughable (leaves on the decking in Autumn). Luckily all our issues were resolved as we had a very reasonable landlord who make no deductions, however others may not be so lucky. It's as though they forget that tenants could be future customers, if we were ever selling or letting our property we would not give Penny & Sinclair our business.

Oliver has a very straightforward and no nonsense approach. He was our point of contact from beginning to end and always returned emails and calls promptly. I felt like he was working with us to quickly resolve any issues that came up and help to push towards completion. On the occasions when I called the office and spoke to other members of staff at Penny & Sinclair, I found them all to be very polite and professional. I would definitely recommend Penny & Sinclair based on my experience.

Penny & Sinclair arranged a series of short lets over a number of months when my mother stayed for a long visit. The flat they provided has been lovely and exactly as described. The various staff we have been contact with were tremendously helpful and courteous and quick to solve any issues we ran into. All in all, a surprisingly good experience. Highly recommended.

I arranged a short term let for my parents through Penny & Sinclair. The agents were incredibly helpful and responsive and flexible. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. The property itself was in wonderful condition and a really lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend going through Penny & Sinclair for your accommodation needs.
