We drove all the way down to Rotherham from an hour away as we had booked in for a test drive over the phone the previous day. When we arrived at Perry's KIA, we were told that the car had sold 2 days prior! The sales person told us that it was the call centre that had booked us in so they must not have been aware that this car had already sold. The sales person then told us he had been trying to "ring me all morning" to inform us of this. I had a total of 1 missed call that morning (no voice mail was left) and I returned the call within 20 minutes- the test drive was confirmed. The sales person at KIA claimed it was because we had rung the call centre, and again they were not aware of the car having sold two days earlier. This was such an inconvenience to clear our whole Sunday afternoon with two small children and drive an hour out of our way to be told this. Poor communication between the call centre and KIA show room and even worse, the sales person clearly lied about claiming to have called me multiple times. On the plus side, we have a test drive booked in at Bradford KIA tomorrow and that outfit is a lot more professional than Perry's.
