I recently had the pleasure of staying at pillrig rooms during my visit to edinburgh , and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. One of the standout features that made my stay truly memorable was the hotel’s remarkable staff.

Few bathrooms for the rooms that are in the accommodation. And a bit noisy since windows are thin.

Good as a "hotel" it's fine but nothing else, fine. Is it recommendable? Certainly not, unless you don't mind being a 20-minute walk from the center of Edinburgh and you're in a not-so-tidy place with no lift. Now, if you want to be in Edinburgh for a medium-affordable price and you don't care about the distance and it's more or less cozy, as is my case, then yes, take it but don't set your expectations too high.
