On way back to our air bnb from dinner at Ole Ole when we passed this pub and heard great music from the open door. Went in for a drink to find the excellent Kriz Garrick playing a set. Great music. Pub had a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Felt like a solid locals pub but all were welcoming to us passing "strangers from the outside" tourists. Nice find will definitely be back if I visit Lincoln again.

Not a local drop in. But maid to feel so by staff an costumer's. Brilliant old school local. I will be returning very soon. Didn't know pubs like this was still alive. well done this pub. Proper gen review x

If you've seen the pub scene from American Werewolf in London it was just like this when me and my wife walked in. A little bloke stood at the bar with a Barcelona football hat on told me I'm not from Lincoln. Very astute. He then went on to have a moan when I paid by card. This is a customer by the way. He then continued to stare at my wife like she'd just landed from the planet Mars. There was a band on that were very good and the bar man was friendly. If you are a tourist in Lincoln it's probably not the best place to go.
