Hello and welcome to our website. My name is Angela and I am the owner and founder of Pride for Pets. I started my passion for all things furry from a very young age. I currently own A Springer Spaniel, a Working Cocker Spaniel and a Miniature Schnauzer. I have two Tortoishell Cats and have previously owned Horses, Ponies, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Hamsters, Chickens and even some Goats. I have been involved in rescue for half of my adult life volunteering and working as manager at a local Animal Shelter.  Bec joined us five years ago and has been an asset to the business, specialising in large dogs She has several dog breeds over the years including a German Shepherd, Chow Chow and an Akita.  Bec now owns a Labrador a Cavalier King Charles and a little Terrier Mix who came overseas from Romania, she has quite a collection of ferrets too.Our aim is to ensure your pets are in safe hands with us. Our experience tells you that we are used to handling a vast array of all creatures great and small. We are committed to extending and improving our knowledge by attending the most up to date training and grooming techniques on a regular basis and well as being first aid trained.We both live locally and are proud to serve our local and extended community with advice for your pet and supplies of Pet Food and accessories.

I’ve been bringing my toy poodle for over 10 years now. When your dog never likes leaving your side and having had a few bad experiences before finding Pride for Pets it’s difficult to know who to trust. From the moment we stepped in I knew I could trust Angela. Daisy and I’m sure all of the other pets are very much treated like one of their own. She doesn’t get tied up waiting for ages like in some places and Angela and Bec are so patient. When Daisy wags her tail when walking up to the shop you know you’ve found the right place. She always looks and smells amazing.
