Fantastic landlord and landlady. Very polite and friendly staff. All together, a very friendly pub. Lovely beer garden too. Love this place. Go in as strangers and leave as friends

We stayed for two nights, the room was very comfortable, tea and coffee facilities, towels and shower gel provided and use of hairdryer, straightners as well as iron board and iron, the bathroom was massive, the pub was fantastic a proper local pub, the bar staff were so nice and polite, and the owners very friendly,. A good night sleep no noise from the pub. Parking permit provided and parked right outside. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

What an absolute gem. Popped in yesterday while visiting friends and instantly felt at home. We live 60 miles away and are so jealous we don’t have a pub this good on our doorstep. Great beer, great atmosphere and lovely staff.
