Booked a 3 night break at Redlands Country Lodge staying at the Wee Bothy. Great place to chill out and relax with hot tub. Hosts Alan & Kate are just amazing and go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay. The Wee Bothy has all the facilities you need and the bed was super comfy. Had a superb Italian meal at The Kettlebridge Inn which is close by and visited St Andrew’s on two separate days which is so beautiful. Check out this place if you’re looking to relax and enjoy the surrounding area as you won’t be disappointed.

Alan and Kate are the lovely couple who run the lodges and were very approachable and welcoming, will go that extra mile in making your stay everything you want it to be. Cabins are very clean and comfortable and have everything you need in them as well as a lovely hot tub for relaxing and so many places you can enjoy within driving distance. They recommend a beach in Tentsmuir sands (about 25 min drive) which also has an amazing forest you can enjoy as well, it's £2 to get in but well worth it. Our time there it was idiot free (which is a blessing from some other beach's I know), with just people out walking their dogs, having BBQs or just relaxing enjoying the sun. Alan & Kate also recommended a lovely Inn for us to go to for an Italian meal at the Kettlebridge Inn which we loved, summed up an amazing place to stay, plenty of places to drive to, a golden nugget of a place we will definitely be going back to and recommend, thanks Kate and Allan. We stayed in the weebothy bungalow for my birthday we had a fantastic time thanks Alan and Kate who are so lovely and the hot tub bungalow and especially Katie the horse was exceptional would recommend and don't forget if you book weebothy to take a few carrots and apples for Katie the horse who comes to greet you everyday thanks for a beautiful location perfect weekend and exceptional bungalow and hot tub Thank-you 😀 had a wonderful birthday and would 100 percent book again next year Joanne and Eddie from bolton 😍

Just returned from a great few days at Redlands and stayed in the Wee Bothy with my husband and our dog Lola. Kate and Alan were the perfect hosts. Accommodation was immaculate and hot tub was amazing. It was set back from a quiet country road making it easy and safe to walk the dog. Lola had a great time exploring the woodland walks that were on the doorstep and meeting Katie the horse and playing with the other dogs. Can't wait to go back.

Exactly what we were looking for. This is a home away from home, felt like moving in instead of checking in. Loved every second being in the wee bothy (even extended our stay by 3 nights). Lovely couple that own the land were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. The cottage itself is very modern but cosy! Ideal honeymoon spot (private hot tub was an added bonus, brand new and spotless). Even added privacy with having a field behind.. apart from Katie the horse coming to say hello every now and then! Easy to work heating system, robes for use, and brandnew smart tv. Cottage has everything included you can imagine.. even fresh eggs from the chickens on our door step! Our dog loved the stay with great walks round about and a lovely local pub with great food about a 20 minute walk away. Better book fast !
