It also boasts a large beer garden overlooking the pleasant canal. It is open all day every day and offers fresh home-cooked food. There is a canal side terrace for customers to relax and enjoy the weather. In the evenings there are quiz nights and regular light indoor entertainment to cater for all tastes. Recently had a meal at The Ring O’ Bells Marple and have to say it was amazing with a lovely outside eating / drinking area. All really fresh home cooked food, prepared from scratch by the landlady Barbara Very unusual these days to have home made food in pubs. Hats off to Barbara and her husband, we will definitely be going back 😊

We stopped in for a quick lunch and the place is great. Super location by the canal with a great outdoor patio. The landlord and staff were all super friendly and helpful. The food was a real surprise, and was top notch, obviously great quality ingredients and well prepared. The pate and the calamari were stand out, and even the pub staple of scampi and chips came with great quality fresh peas. Also great that they are dog friendly, fresh water bowls everywhere. Will definitely visit again.

What a great visit. Located just above the canal with great aspect over. Sat in the garden watching the boats pass by. Great service with food and drinks, menu was comprehensive enough.

Cosy old style pub. Visited with a friend. We sat inside and had a couple of drinks. Staff are nice, very attentive too always checking on us - perhaps a bit too much for me as I felt like they wanted to sell us more drinks. Other than that a nice place to go for a drink.
