I stayed in a cute shepherd's hut for the weekend and I was extremely happy with my stay. On arrival the gates were security locked but I had been given the code to gain access. The toilets and showers were amazingly clean and well maintained. Everything about this place was exactly what I wanted. It's quiet, rural and tucked away for some well needed relaxation. The grounds were so lovely and I particularly liked the river running along the back of the grounds. Thank you Vicky for making my stay so nice and thank you for all your help. I will be coming back soon. You should be so proud of this little gem you have created.

Stayed here on 26th March 2022. What a little gem. Wonderful location and very very quiet. Follow the directions and you won't go wrong. Very secure little site, toilets and shower clean and fresh. Large pitches plenty of room to spread out. Bonus is Large Tescos is just up the road which is walkable. Will certainly be visiting again. Thank you Vicky for making us feel so welcome.

Small, pretty little hideaway. Very clean. Showers and toilet block. Helped us out at very short notice. Very friendly. Will be back.

Though I am sure that had we not have been pitched up next to a screaming family for two nights it might have been more peaceful, this could have been limited if there was space to swing a cat between pitches. The facilities are as basic as can be. No toilet roll so be prepared. Also if you don’t have electric hook up there is no way of drying your hair etc. And nothing could ever quite prepare you for the track leading up to the place. Hoping that your suspension survives it. Also apart from a pretty small Tesco, there is little around you. Though Ramsey is a quaint market town.

Site was beautiful, but there is zero effort put into the maintenance of the place. No hot water in washing up basin, no toilet paper to be seen. Only 1 working shower (the other either scalded you or froze you), which after "updating" was a complete shambles. Looks as though floor tiles were used on the walls, just thrown on haphazardly, they started to peel after a day of being up. And I was there for a week and the bins weren't taken out once, which were right by our pitch. Just the stuff taken off the top, meaning the bins were alive by the time we left. For the price, expected a bit more care to be taken.
