Rosalind House is a delightful place to stay with easy walking to all that Carlisle, steeped in history, has to offer. We are located just off the beaten track of Hadrian's Wall Path and The Cumbrian Way.
Our 4 individually designed en-suite rooms offer luxury and comfort amid the original features of this late Edwardian Grade II listed townhouse.
Lovingly restored and run by Julie & her family, our home becomes your home when you come to stay with us.

PAVOL DRIMAJ5 StarFantastic location and what a beautiful home. Julie has been most hospitable host and very informative. Her breakfast was truly impressive. One of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. Bedding and mattresses were top notch.
We do hope to come back again soon.

Martin Clarke5 StarSuperb, one of the best B&Bs I've ever had the pleasure to stay in, in terms of friendly hospitality (but not OTT), spacious room, delicious breakfast. There were lots of little well thought-out details like decent bathroom, nice tea and a tea pot, tasty home-made tray-bake slice, plenty of charging places, phone stand next to the bed... and I'm sure lots of things I've forgotten. Plus I went for a very enjoyable run with the host in the morning before breakfast. Absolutely recommended.Thursday 7th April 2022
Kees Wiederspan5 StarWe stayed for one night and it was lovely. The host was kind and helpful, and the beds were so comfortable! The location was great too, we were easily able to walk to the bed & breakfast from the train station and then walk to the city center, but also it a was nice and quiet area as well.
