Criminal law

Our specialist team have years of experience in representing clients in all aspects of criminal law both at Magistrates courts as well as the Crown Court.  Adam Scott has achieved higher rights of audience and is thus able to represent clients in the senior courts.

Family law

Changes in the availability of legal aid mean that we can only offer advice and representation in child protection issues and care proceedings, family law injunctions and child abduction. Legal aid is still available for all aspects of child residence and contact, divorce and financial settlement where there has been domestic violence or domestic abuse. Housing law

We have a wealth of experience in representing clients facing the loss of their homes.  We have an excellent track record in ensuring that those of our clients who are in a position to keep their mortgage or rent payments, keep their homes.  We also hold a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to provide free legal advice at court in Newcastle and Northumberland for people who are facing possession proceedings or are being evicted from their homes.

We can also advice and assist clients in respect of homelessness, harrassment, disrepair and anti-social behaviour as well as all other aspects of housing law.
