And thanks to the passion, generosity and support of people like you, as an independent charity, Abbey Street Animal Rehoming Centre can continue working to ensure animals are rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed allowing more families and individuals to share their homes and hearts with these amazing creatures. It’s hard work (lots of cleaning, cuddling and grooming), but lots of fun. It is also interesting to research in order to provide for all their physical and emotional needs. Well worth the hard work when you finally win their love and trust. I wouldn’t be without them.” Two weeks ago I adopted a beautiful tortoiseshell and white cat called Marnie who is the best £150 I have ever spent. She came to me neutered, vaccinated and with up-to-date treatments fully detailed in the adoption pack. She’d obviously been taken great care of looking at this and her clean, well equipped surroundings. The centre gave me excellent guidance both there and within the adoption pack on how to care for her. They really made sure Marnie and I suited each other's needs and got it absolutely right!
