I am a fully qualified lady instructor, registered with the Driving Standards Agency and you can recognise this by the green ADI badge I hold.

The driving school is based in the village of Eggborough, which is ideally situated on the borders of North Yorks, East Yorks and West Yorks, close to Goole, Selby, Pontefract, and Doncaster.

The Areas I Cover

The areas I primarily cover are: Pontefract, Selby, Knottingley, Goole, and Doncaster. 

However, I will cover outside of these areas subject to the amount and duration of lessons required.

The Training I Offer

I provide lessons to suit individual needs, from the complete beginner through to refresher training for qualified drivers. The lessons can start and finish at the location of your choice. I also give help and advice on preparing for the Theory and Hazard Perception Test.

Lesson prices start from £23.00 per hour and I have various packages available to suit your requirements.

Learning to Drive

New Drivers

In order to start taking lessons you must be 17 years or over and hold a provisional driving licence.

Theory Test And Hazard Perception

You will need to pass both the Theory and HP test at the same time, before you can apply for your practical driving test.

The Theory part of the exam is to test your knowledge and understanding of various aspects of driving. So, being prepared is key to success.

Hazard Perception tests your ability to identify both potential and developing hazards by a series of computer clips.

Practical Driving Test

“Show me, tell me” checks your understanding of basic car maintenance and how to identify that the vehicle controls are working correctly.

The practical part of the test will assess your ability to drive to the required standard sought by the DSA.

Advice And Support To Help You Prepare

I will give you help and advice on how to structure your revision for the Theory and HP test. During your lesson plan, I will also cover the basics of general car maintenance. This will mean you are well prepared for the test and how to look after you own car once you have passed!

Refresher Training

If you have already passed your driving test and hold a full licence, I can offer refresher training. This will be tailored to suit your own individual requirements.

The Driving Instructor

I am a fully qualified female driving instructor who is patient, friendly and very supportive. I passed all the qualifying exams to be an Approved Driving Instructor on my first attempt. I hold a *green ADI badge, which only fully qualified instructors carry.

I offer a structured lesson plan to ensure pupils receive the correct level of training for every stage. The lessons are tailored to suit each individual, to ensure they are both effective and enjoyable. My aim is to provide high quality driving tuition, in a safe and pleasant training environment.

*Some driving schools have trainee instructors, which you can identify by the pink badge. This means they have not yet passed the qualifying exam required by the DSA.

The Learner Car

I have two high specification Vauxhall Corsa Cars.  Both offer comfort and safety to ensure you have an enjoyable driving experience on your lessons.

The specification includes air conditioning, fully adjustable seats, electric mirrors, dual controls and numerous other safety features.
