Why Scribbles

Day Nursery & Afterschool?

Scribbles Day Nursery is a social enterprise, non-profit organisation, opening in 2005 with funding from the European Peace Programme.  Over the years the nursery has grown in staff and children’s numbers and in September 2018, benefitted from a significant extension and upgrade to our facilities through the Social Investment Fund.

A huge amount of time and research went into planning a building that would not only meet but exceed the Health and Social Care Minimum Standard requirements for a day nursery facility.

Scribbles has always believed in striving for quality, be that in the care we provide, relationship with parents and carers, provision of play, to our amazing menu plans.

Our child is there at the minute. It was the best place we visited and it has been as good as we thought it would be. Professionally run and very friendly. It is also a not-for-profit organisation. Just to update this, we sent our second child there the following year and they both continue to go to the after-school, 8 years later.

My daughter has been going here for almost a year, she absolutley loves it. Her progession over the year has been unbelievable, i didn't realise how much children really benefitted from attending a day nursery. Highly recommend Scribbles Day Nursery with my experiences.
