Typical of a chain optician. Some of the individual staff are good but the overall experience does not compare to the independent (which, sadly, has closed) that my wife and I used to go to. My glasses took ten days to come; previously, I always got them inside a week. Once I started wearing my glasses, it quickly became clear that they were not right. I went back and had a re-test but had lost confidence, so returned the glasses for a refund. That took ten days, which seemed excessive. I have now had my eyes tested elsewhere, had great service, got glasses that feel right and paid less for them.

You're lucky you got one! On contacting scrivens to explain the hospital my husband is in had lost his hearing aids; which you had supplied him with just under 12 months ago, only to be told that they do not supply those anymore and would have to come in to be reassessed! Told them that was Impossible as he was in hospital following a stroke!!! Could they not have supplied them using his recent prescription or is that beyond reason!!! I know where I won't be going again!!!

Had my eye test done here last week as there was a good offer on. The lady who did my eye test was extremely rude she had no idea what client care is and how to actually talk to customers. Customers always remember how you made them feel.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Just turned up for my appointment for my autistic son and they had no record of it. After having to prepare my son for this appointment and arrange my day to get back to this I was not happy and my son was confused. Staff looked at me as if they couldn't be bothered. My appointment for myself for the next day was different to what I was told as well. Also could not get the voucher emailed to me for the eye test. Rubbish. I will be going somewhere else. Do not bother going here. Was uncomfortably hot in there as well.

Had my new NHS hearing from here. Staff are smashing. Stuart my audiometrist was brilliant. Kept fine tuning until I was comfortable with the settings.
