I can not recommend this place enough. From helping me to buy my daughter’s 1st guitar to helping her to set it all up and maintain it, the shop and the staff are fantastic. Incredibly helpful and always prepared to answer any questions you have. My biggest praises are going to the shop manager, Bill Allen. I can’t thank him enough for being my daughter’s guitar tutor. He’s just fantastic, the way he manages to keep my little one focused it’s still a surprise for me😄. We’ve been taking these lessons for a year now and I’m very pleased with the results. My daughter Patricia has piano lessons there. We used to have private tutors for 5 years before we started with this school and I am really pleased that the quality of teaching is on high level. Her tutor Billy keeps her motivated, and she is always happy after lesson. He is very systematic and I can easily hear the progress she makes every week. And most important think : she simply enjoys the piano lesson with him. I will definitely continue to use their service and soon my younger daughter will join them.

Marina has taught my 7 year old daughter Piano since December 2015 and I am extremely pleased with my daughters progress from an absolute beginner to the level she has achieved. Marina is a great teacher and has a way of connecting with my young daughter and motivating her to focus during lesson whilst really enjoy learning to play the piano and read music. I couldn't be happier with what my daughter has achieved with Marina as her teacher !

For years I drove by this music school and each time I promised myself I would drop in and sign up for guitar lessons. Earlier this year I actually did and I have not regretted it since. My tutor, Billy, is brilliant; he's patient, supportive and makes learning fun. The rest of the team (Joe and Steve) are just as helpful and willing to advise you according to your needs. I definitely recommend Southend Music School for all your musical needs. You will not be disappointed.
