Good atmosphere and the first time I encountered the "Squashed frog", looks a bit dodgy but assured by others it tastes quite good (can't drink alcohol so volunteered the rest of my party to try)

Barman made me feel really uncomfortable! Went here with the family, immediately as we walked into the outside area, barman walks in and says "no under 18's after 5pm because they get a bit rowdy" - We laugh this off (as we were all over 18) and we get our drinks, the ladies at the pub were really nice, we order drinks, I give one of them my ID and it's all good. We go back into the outside area and place my drink down and go to the toilet, as I'm walking past the bar, the barman is staring at me as I walk past, which made me feel really uncomfortable and discriminated against (considering the comment he made when we walked in), I had an England shirt on and I have a baby face (I'm 22), which probably made him think "young England fan, he's gonna start trouble", hence the inferiority complex. This is such a shame because the pub itself is really nice and the other staff in there were really nice and helpful, it's just a shame that this one person ruined my experience here a bit and safe to say, this puts me off coming back here, at least for a while. I get that rules are rules, and people have to be ID'd for a reason these days, but blatant discrimination against younger people because "they get rowdy" is totally unacceptable.

Lying to the police. The ONLY way a guy like me will notice a hobbit like Elyse. 7 Karens. Black people , you're NOT SAFE inside here. There is a new supervisor that won't stop to destroy you. She has bleach blonde hair. I just said she looks much older than she actually is when she started talking talking me. Oops. You are just money. Not a respected customer and they will s*** on you. Not to your face though. Black Security guard did not care + One of her colleagues came up to me outside McDonald's that night and said I did nothing wrong without me having to say anything. I wish I knew HER name. I am not 18 and small. I am 28 and loud. . I am not dumb enough to be silent To ignore racism and unjustice Just because I am a big strong black mam does not MEAN I CANT CHOOSE to feel INTIMIDATED This is the start of something.
