What an amazing find! We ate here two nights in a row and it was a delight! The staff and management were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I have food allergies myself and rang up prior to booking (to tweak a dish); the staff sorted any issues over the phone and when we turned up they were all fully aware and made me feel at ease. Food was deliciously cooked and to the same excellent standard both nights. All were attentive and didn’t wait long or feel forgotten about. Their new staff member Lilly looked after us both nights and was so bright and cheery. We shall return next time we are down that way! Thanks again

We were well looked after by two staff, a senior waitress & a trainee on her first night. They were both excellent, friendly, helpful & efficient. (I am a senior bar restaurant manager) Well done

We enjoyed a pleasant family lunch at The Ship Inn, but it could have been much better. The location next to the harbour is of course a major attraction, but it was disappointing on a sunny day to be told that we could not eat outside. The quality of the food was generally very good, but the Caesar salad with king prawns was very small for a main course and thus poor value for money. The selection of real ales was limited. On the up side, the service was friendly and prompt.

If you don't mind dogs barking each other then the Ship Inn is for you. I love dogs but prefer not to hear them barking whilst having a lovely day out. Food is higher end of medium priced if you fancy a fish finger sandwich for £10.95. High prices are because of the area it is situated in not for décor or comfort. Nice outdoor area if you are willing to wait for the tables.

Amazing staff, so polite and helpful. They made us feel really welcome. The food was amazing too, burger was cooked to perfection and the Nourish bowl was so tasty and filling. I'd definitely come back again.
