Richard Parry3 StarFirst time trying Simpsons in Stroud as there was a big queue at Big Fish, ordered, cod, chips and curry sauce, had to wait a l while as they seemed busy with phone orders. Food seemed a bit over packaged but engaging,
Got home, piece of fish in one box and regular portion of chips in the other - no curry sauce, didn’t fancy driving back to rectify, so a bit disappointed. Fish batter was light and crispy, but surprisingly oily, and fish crumbled to bits, no big succulent flakes (like big fish) ..chips were average, but overdone and not exactly a generous portion, very little salt and vinegar used, all in all a bit disappointing, especially with not getting order right, nice packaging but can’t eat the box!
