Vlad Khvan3 StarYou get what you pay for is very applicable to the flats here. On the one hand you live in some of the cheapest accomodation in Coventry, on the other, you live in some of the cheapest accomodation in Coventry.
In practice this meant that while the rent was low, my expectations were low as well. Things I had to deal with included kitchen lights barely working, the radiator dial being broken when I moved in, tiles straight up falling off the bathroom walls, hot water and heating being switched off past 10 or 11. The hot water didn't even work half the time I was there, I had to take showers at my friend's flat.
Some positives though, the rooms themselves are quite large for the price, and staff were reasonably responsive towards complaints.
If you really need some cheap accomodation, you won't die here. But if you can afford something a bit pricier, then go for that. It'll save you a lot of hassle.Monday 6th September 2021
Hamide Yentürk3 Starthe only problem they turn off the heater at night and it's really cold. you can not manage the heater:(Tuesday 29th March 2022
Rohan Khosla-Stevens3 StarStayed for my first year at uni. Security keep the noise levels down which is appreciated. Rooms are big, but a nasty interior colour. Cheap parking. Helpful reception staff.
The surrounding area is extremely risky. Do not walk up the hill. Always walk towards the university, and into the centre of the city.Tuesday 11th September 2018
Joshua Fisher1 StarVery expensive for what you get and located in a bad area. Constant maintenance issues are never resolved such as lighting, heating, kitchen appliances and door locks. Security are lazy and slow to respond to serious incidents. Do not stay here, you'll regret it!Tuesday 13th February 2018
