We were very impressed with the professional, down to earth approach of Smith Marston. As a small planning partnership ourselves (although simply "neighbours" in the context of this work) we very much appreciated the honesty, good organisation, reasonable fee and excellent time management. The following is what I wrote to Adrian: "Many thanks for getting these results to us this week and explaining them, and for advising us candidly that there would be no point in pursuing the issue further. "We will gladly settle your invoice over the weekend and thank you for your generous discount on the original quote for the abortive fee. "At least we will know that whatever is finally agreed, it will not affect daylight/sunlight which is very good to know. "Many thanks for all your help and for providing straightforward and honest explanations. It is much appreciated".

Throughout working with them, I found them to be very positive and apply a forward thinking approach to our concerns, that helped us to overcome a number of hurdles in relation to our proposed works. I have no hesitation in recommending them and would look to work with them again should the need arise.
