Christine Williams5 StarWe were a party of 34 people. We had a very warm reception from Pam and the staff with warm mince pies and mulled wine. Check in was very efficient. Our meal at night was superb again supervised by Pam and Olivia.
Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and the next morning breakfast was very good including excellent provision for our gluten free member. Another member of our group had a wheelchair and she and her husband were very happy with the arrangements for the disabled.
We all would have liked to have stayed longer, but we’ll be back!Thursday 24th November 2022
Darren Lewis5 StarI stayed here for just one night earlier this week during a business trip.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was large, clean and well presented. Some may say slightly dated, but the Bathroom appeared newly refurbished.
Unfortunately I didn't stay long enough to try the leisure facilities.
The only slightly negative part of my stay was the wait for my food, which was too long. The Restaurant Manager and her team were very good and apologetic as it was not just myself. Once the food arrived, it was excellent and my drink was refunded as a goodwill gesture. If it were not for the approach of the staff this would have been a far more annoying wait.
Will definitely stay again when I'm next in the Norwich area.Friday 21st October 2022
Robert Martell3 StarNice and comfortable rooms, very nice surroundings. But it's so hot around the hotel and dining room, don't know how the staff work in such hot conditions. Also the vegan burger was so hot and spicy the 3 of us on the table could not eat it, it didn't state that it was spicy in any way. So if you don't like spice, avoid the vegan burger.Sunday 23rd October 2022
Sharley Newitt4 StarA short escape from London and stayed for two nights. The swimming pool area and spa are defiantly the best part of this hotel with a good sized pool, hot tub, sauna and steam all open all day for guests staying at the hotel. The spa area also looked nice and offered a range of treatments however was fully booked once we arrived and enquired.
Staff are all very lovely and helpful and rooms were a good size, old fashioned with very comfortable beds!
Also the breakfast was also very nice, good selection of options from an English breakfast, to cereal and pastries!
The only constructive criticism I would give is that we wasn't given enough information on arrival about facilities and the grounds. Check in was very quick and given keys with no information available in the rooms either.
Other than this it honestly was a lovely stay and would recommend a visit!Thursday 16th March 2023
